Meditation undertaken in a dedicated space or room, at a regular time will help your mind and senses to quickly acquire the skills of peace, serenity and tranquillity.
Meditation Essentials
• Your meditation room should be comfortably warm and clean of clutter
• Open a window slightly
• Choose a regular time to practise meditation – dawn or dusk are most effective
• Make sure you will not be disturbed for at least 30 minutes
• Make a simple altar as a focus point
• Make yourself comfortable with pillows, rugs and cushions
• Have an extra layer of clothing or a blanket to cover yourself as your temperature may drop during meditation
Meditation Preparation
• Light a candle and /or incense
• Play some soothing Angelic or relaxing music
• Use essential oils in a burner, or a room spray
• Place fresh flowers in your meditation room
• Take a shower or bath and put on clean clothes before you begin
• Wear loose comfortable clothing preferably pastel colours or white
• Hold a crystal
Meditation Posture
• Sit cross-legged or in the lotus yoga position on the floor
• Put a cushion under you so that your pelvis is tilted slightly forward
• Keep your back straight but relaxed
• If your prefer to sit in a chair then choose a straight backed chair and make sure your feet are flat on the floor
• Rest your palms upwards in your lap or rest your palms down on your knees
• If you prefer you can lie flat in the sleep posture
Grounding
• Once you are comfortable imagine that you have roots growing out of the soles of your feet
• Imagine these roots growing deeply and firmly into the earth below you until they reach the centre of the earth
• If you are seated, you can also imagine additional roots growing from the base of your spine into the earth
Relax
• Now take some time to focus on your breathing
• Breathe in to the word love
• Breathe out to the word peace
• In love, out peace
• Continue in a pattern that is comfortable for you until you start to feel relaxed
• Just allow any passing thoughts to come and go
Bring down the essence of your Angel
• Once you are relaxed imagine the essence of your Angels entering into your body through your head
• Imagine this essence as a bright golden light, going right down to your feet and out through the roots to the earth
• Allow the Angel Essence and Light to fill you, every organ, every cell, every thought
• As you breathe in more Angel Essence enters your body
• As you breathe out - breathe out Peace
• Imagine the Peace forming a bubble of protection all around your body, you are totally relaxed and safe in your bubble of peace
• This peace is the peace from your Angel, you are now connected
• Allow the meditation to naturally flow
Finish the meditation
• Thank your Angels
• Open your eyes
• Write down everything that you experienced today in your Angelic Journal
